Baby steps

Stella had a calm Christmas Day, which is what we hoped would happen.  We brought the twins to the hospital to see their sister and, unlike last time, they were great and lasted about 30 minutes.  As a reward, they got hospital cafeteria french fries (which are pretty darn good).  Stella's Christmas night was also calm and uneventful, which set us up for a big day today of trying to ween her from the ventilator again and also reducing some of her medications.  If all goes well, our baby girl should be off the ventilator tomorrow or Monday!
