Moving on up!

Stella is out of the ICU! We moved to "the floor" this morning (which is actually just 50 yards down the hall) and are enjoying life with less wires, machines, and overall stress.

She has responded well to the respiratory treatments over the past 24 hours and her lung X-ray looked much clearer this morning. Additionally, her blood cultures for infection came back negative so we've stopped antibiotics. Stella is also starting back on a feeding schedule (instead of continues feeds) and is off the medicine for her gallbladder that (ironically) upsets her stomach. 

All in all, I'd call this a darn good day.
